We are the creators of personal histories, and more.  Knowing that each life is significant, as are its many stories, you've come here looking for a way to capture and pay tribute to the personal history of an important someone.    Perhaps you are thinking of the biography of a parent, a sibling, or a child, to be formed into a family heirloom saved for posterity.  Or your interest may lean toward honoring a friend, a coworker or a civic leader.  Perhaps you are interested in chronicling the life history of a business, or a community.  Whichever direction you are headed, each life is significant, so let us save that story, those memoirs, as your personal history writer.

Who we are.

Matt Alexander is a writer and student of humanity.  He was formally educated as an anthropologist and has traveled on four continents studying history and culture.  Through this, he has found that it is the unique stories, the personal histories of individual people, that add the colors to our world.  He is interested in hearing and preserving every life history, which led him to create Personal History Writer.  Dedicated to helping clients preserve the biography they want to capture in a professionally done, lasting written or oral memoir tribute, Matt wants to be your personal history writer!

What we do.

The goal of each project is to pay tribute to valuable pieces of the puzzle that is history.  It may be a biography spanning the entire life of a grandparent, parent, sibling, child or even a business or community.  Perhaps a certain portion of ones life, such as military service or travels abroad, might be especially significant.  Or maybe someone you know wants to leave a record of his or her thoughts, beliefs and wishes in the form of an ethical will. Have you already done the legwork of creating notes or a manuscript, but can't manage the writing details?  Let us do the editing! We want to capture the glow before the light is extinguished.
